Upon graduting Magna Cum Laude from Zicklin School of Business (Baruch College - Macaulay Honors), Shomita joined the insurance industry with the intention of using her International Marketing degree as a Jr. Marketing Manager at Penn Mutual. That is when she fell in love with Insurance and Risk Management. Combining her dual interests in Entreprenership and Risk Management, Shomita founded Anwar Insurance Agency in 2011.

After graduating from Brooklyn Tech HS, Shakib joined the Insurance Industry with the intention of making a difference to solve problems and help others in their time of loss. To protect and help avoid risks so that you can be prepared for anything that could happen. He started his insurance career at State Farm as an agent in 2015 but soon realized that being limited to State Farm wasn’t enough so he started with Anwar Insurance in 2016 to make an even bigger difference.
With years of experience in Human Resources, Payroll and Benefits background that relates to the Worker's Compensation and Disability Insurance, Rafique joined Anwar Insurance Agency in 2012. He has a strong background of client data management that helps setting up and maintaining insured and vendor database.
Bringing her management and communications skills from Baruch College to Anwar Insurance Agency, Jenny makes sure that every client gets the individualized attention that they deserve.
